In his letter, according to Mr. Karzai’s press office, Mr. Obama wrote: “I wish to express my deep regret for the reported incident. I extend to you and the Afghan people my sincere apologies.”

Now if you have a friend, talk with him and share your worries. Because by sharing your concerns with somebody you’ll surely feel lighter.

Planning and Organizing: Many students feel tension when their exam is very near and they have many things remain to read. In the same way, some people feel helpless if they get a handful works to do in a day. The solution is that you should make a schedule mentioning time. Make the schedule at night or early in the morning. Now focus on the first work on the schedule. When you have finished the first work, then do the next one. In this way by the end of the day you’ll find that your all works have been done.

Setting Attainable Goals: Some people set an unreachable goal for their life and can’t get that. As a result they become frustrated. Always set attainable short term goals and start at the basic and slowly. Surely you’ll reach your big goal.

Treat Yourself: In a week, you should take one day to treat yourself. You can watch a movie, meet up with old friends, drive a car, eat outside, visit a relative, shop for new clothes and more. This will reduce your tension near to zero.

The Use of Oil Booms for Collecting Spill Oil

Oil spill booms are kind of temporary floating barriers which are used to contain spill oil. They are made to use for stopping spill oil to spread further to the shorelines and associated pollution. They also help the rescue team to recover the oil easily. The booms absorb the spill oil and concentrate that into thicker layers of its surface. Different cleaning up methods can be used very effectively to collect the oil from the booms. Highly absorbent polypropylene fillers are used to make the booms and they are very effective for absorbing hydrocarbon based liquids such as oil, petrol, diesel, jet fuel and kerosene.

In an oil-spill site the booms is the first piece equipment which is used to remove oil. It is used on the surface of the water in a way that the oil is prevented from spreading. The booms go down about 18 to 48 inches from the water surface. If the waters stay calm, theses booms work perfectly. But most of the cases, the booms are used for multiple layers.

Sometimes for the very odd situation the oil is burned to contain the oil spill. In this case fire proof oil spill booms are used. These booms are same effective in ponds, lakes, rivers or oceans. It is also useful even on the land. Really oil spill booms have proven very essential in containing oil spills and saving numerous marine creatures’ lives.

Conservation of Whale Worldwide

Whale conservationWhale is the largest creature of the planet. It is a marine mammal with sleek and streamlined body. It is the only mammal which lives its entire life in the open oceans. Like other mammals it breathes air into lungs, has mammary glands for its young, and has a four –chambered heart and it is warm-blooded.

There are 39 species of whale and 15 of them are baleen whales and 24 of them are toothed whales. Among the baleen whales Humpback, Gray and Blue whale are famous. Baleen whales have baleen plates for filtering food from water. Toothed whales have teeth and one of them is Sperm whale.

There are many causes for decreasing whale population. Some of them are commercial whale hunting, accidental capture by the fisheries ships, habitat degradation, noise disturbance and collision with vessels, disease outbreaks, food resource competition with fisheries and climate change impacts. The impact of these causes is worse two or more causes occur at a time. If these threats are allowed to continue, many species of whale will become extinct in the near future.

International Whaling Commission has recognized 86 cetacean species including all whale species. Some of the species have been studied closely but their biology, ecology hasn’t yet known largely. So there is a real need for extensive research for the conservation of whale species.

People who participate in a whale watching tour actively support whale conservation as these people become more aware about the present condition of whales and support whale research directly. It contributes to whale conservation globally.
