A Japanese airline (All Nippon Airways Boeing 737-700) en-route from southern Japan to Tokyo, with 117 people aboard, nose dived and rolled almost upside down ‘coz the co-pilot hit the wrong controls while trying to open the cockpit door, for the captain to return from a toilet break.
Goes to show how clumsy the co-pilot was, with flagrant disregard to human lives on board the flight.
According to sources, (ANA) the co-pilot hit the rudder controls mistakenly instead of the door lock. Finally the crew MANAGED to stabilize the plane in time for its safe arrival @ Tokyo.
