New Zealand: Salvors are trying to remove containers from the bow section of Rena

Svitzer salvors have so far recovered 554 containers for Rena. Braemar Howells container processing teams have carried those containers to the shore. From the water and shoreline another 71 containers have been recovered. Now total 625 containers have been recovered.

This week salvors are focusing to remove containers from the bow section of Rena. They also have managed to collect 10.3 cubic meters of fuel from the engine room.
