NYK, Evergreen, Hanjin trio launches ICS to link Far East with India from Oct 29, 2011

JAPAN: Three container lines from Japan, Taiwan and South Korea will launch a Far East – West India direct service starting from 29 October, 2011. The service, named India-China Service (ICS), will be operated by a line of partner carriers including NYK, Evergreen and Hanjin Shipping. NYK will deploy three vessels, Hanjin Shipping and Evergreen will deploy one 2,500 TEUs containership each in this new ICS Service.

The 35-days ICS port rotation will be Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore, Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Pipavav, Colombo, Singapore and Hong Kong.
